On August 31, 2011, President Obama signed the Disaster Declaration for Morris County and four other New Jersey Counties. Residents impacted by Hurricane Irene are now eligible to apply for assistance from FEMA at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-745-0243.
